The Winter Course - Leeds

Our unique Winter course covers an option of one or two weapon disciplines, at Standard, Intermediate, or Advanced, depending on your applicable level. Our first day offers research at the world famous Royal Armouries in Leeds, with an optional, behind-the-scenes hands on tour of the antiques in the armoury. Here we will guide you and allow you to explore the historical material to shape the choreography to come.

We then decamp to the University studios to work on the technical class of the weapons, and set the choreography, after which we rehearse and add the scenes for the final examined performance.

This is the only course of its type in the country, with a focus on research and a unique study available through our link with the Royal Armouries.
